Sure, and UNC was missing several players for that game too


Fact is they never lost control of the game. They got a 3 touchdown lead, and then got lazy, and every time VT cut the lead to 1 touchdown, they immediately pushed it back to 3. And I do mean immediate, like it wasn't VT and UNC traded scores, I mean UNC scored 2 TDs while VT scored none.

VT could be improved in this game against UNC, as compared to last year's respective game, and still easily lose by 2 scores. That game had a deceptively close final score much like the Clemson-VT game in 2016. Most of that game was VT losing by 2-3 touchdowns too.
